True to the Moment.
True to You.

Photography that let's you stay present

for you & your people

You don’t need someone turning your day into a production — but you also shouldn’t be standing there wondering what to do with your hands. I’m here for both. I’ll step in with simple prompts, fix a stray hair, tell you where to stand so the light hits just right — and then I’ll let you be. The best moments happen when you feel comfortable enough to forget the camera is there. I’ll guide you when you need it, hype you up when you’re nervous, and step back when the moment deserves space. Because the magic isn’t in stiff poses — it’s in the way you squeeze a little tighter, laugh a little louder, and settle into the people you love. My job is to help it unfold naturally and preserve it in a way that feels honest and timeless.

EXPERIENCE

I’m not here to perfectly script your story. I show up to every session and wedding knowing this is real life — and it deserves to be handled with care. The experience should feel easy, supportive, and true — never forced, never performative.

MEET QUANTAYA

I'm the girl working behind the camera, the laptop, and running all of the social media. Photography has been a passion of mine since early high school, and I love bringing more to a photo than just great lighting and photography technicality. My goal as your potential photographer is to bring a new sense of life and light to your photos so that when you look back at your photos, you don't remember the story but how that story felt.

Hi, I’m Quantaya — a born-and-raised Wisconsinite. I love the Midwest for its changing seasons and home-like feel, but travel has always held a special place in my heart. I’ve traveled more in the last few years than ever before, and I’m always excited to meet new people, see new places, and hear stories like yours.

I first picked up a camera over ten years ago and photographed my first wedding in 2020. Looking back at the people I’ve met and the moments I’ve been trusted to capture, I’m filled with gratitude. It’s truly a dream that sixteen-year-old me never saw coming.

Outside of photography, I’m a big foodie, a partner to my other half, and a dog mom to our puppy, Drax. During the day I work as a Managing Technician with an ABA service provider, and outside of that you’ll usually find me photographing, editing, or thinking about the next story I get to capture — often with The Traitors playing in the background.

THE STORY

I can thank the invention of the iPod Touch and Instagram for sparking my love of photography. As a pre-teen in the 2010s, Instagram was today’s TikTok, and I was here for it. Scrolling through photos and discovering artists who inspired me made me want to create and find my own voice. I got my first camera when I was 15 and brought it everywhere — capturing friends, family, and the little moments of my small-town life. From the start, I couldn’t put it down.

What began as a silly hobby quickly became something deeper. Each session built my confidence and skill, and the joy I saw in the people I photographed made me fall even more in love with the craft. That love carried me to my first wedding in 2020, and since then, I’ve been endlessly grateful to meet incredible couples and document their stories. There’s nothing quite like capturing the laughter, the quiet glances, and the raw, unscripted emotion of a wedding day — moments that will be cherished forever.

THE HEART

Photography, to me, is about preserving the feeling of a moment — not just what it looked like, but what it meant to be there. I’m drawn to the moments that happen naturally: the quiet exchanges, the laughter that fills a room, and the small interactions that might otherwise go unnoticed.

A big part of the experience for me is helping people feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves. I’ve always loved creating spaces where people feel relaxed, supported, and free to enjoy the moment they’re in. When that happens, the photos follow naturally — the emotion is real, the connection is genuine, and the memories feel exactly the way they did in the moment.Because the best photographs aren’t just seen — they’re felt.
